Frequently Asked

The Real Questions,
answered.

Permits, camping, kids, pets, weather, sound, bookings — everything we get asked, in one place.

Noise & Permits

Yes. Reed Ranch is on private farmland with appropriate permitting for our scheduled production windows. Outdoor sound wraps by 11 PM out of respect for surrounding farms; indoor barn sets can continue through sunrise. We coordinate with local authorities ahead of every wedding.
Festival-grade sound — but we calibrate it. Inside the barn, the after-party is true club volume. Outside (camping zones), it's audible but not overwhelming. Earplugs are available at the glow-gear bar for guests who want them.

Camping Logistics

Yes — that's the whole idea. Check-in is Friday afternoon, check-out is Sunday morning. Early arrival or late departure can be arranged with prior approval.
Spacious RV pads with 2 electrical hookups (more available with day-of upgrades). Tent fields are open grass with shaded zones near tree lines. Glamping is a Mainstage/Headliner upgrade — pre-pitched canvas tents with real beds, lanterns, and rugs.
Yes. Portable bathroom stations across the property, plus 1 dedicated shower on-site. The Bridal Suite (Room 2) has a full private bath.

What Guests Should Bring

If they're camping: their own tent + sleeping setup, warm layers (Eastern Washington nights get cool), and a flashlight or headlamp. Snacks and morning coffee are nice-to-haves but not required — we keep coffee and water flowing all weekend.
Heavily encouraged. There's a glow-gear bar at the welcome bonfire on Friday — LED jackets, light-up sunglasses, glow sticks, all stocked. Festival energy is built into the weekend; we just hand you the gear.

Family & Pets

Absolutely. The Friday welcome bonfire and Saturday ceremony are family-friendly. The after-party is technically open to everyone, but most families with young kids head back to camp around 10–11 PM. Sound levels in tent zones are manageable for sleeping.
Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome in camping zones. We ask that pets aren't in the barn during ceremony or after-party for safety reasons (loud sound, strobing lights).

Weather & Backup Plan

Eastern Washington summers are dry — we average ~10% rain probability May through September. If weather threatens, the ceremony moves into the barn (which is also the reception space). The after-party is always in the barn regardless of weather.
Summer nights are 50–65°F. Tell guests to pack a hoodie even in July. Bonfires run all weekend.

Logistics

Dedicated guest parking on-site. RV and camping vehicles park alongside their setup.
Limited rural rideshare. We strongly recommend designating drivers, having guests camp on-site, or arranging a shuttle to nearby Davenport hotels. We can coordinate a shuttle as a planning add-on.
About 50 miles / 1 hour 15 minutes. The Spokane airport (GEG) is the closest major airport for fly-in guests and flown-in artists.

Booking & Pricing

50% deposit + signed venue agreement. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your weekend.
Every rental includes seating for 100 guests. We can expand to ~150 with rental upgrades on chairs and tables. The barn comfortably hosts 150 for after-party dancing.
Yes. Weekday rentals are Tuesday check-in / Thursday check-out — same property, lower midweek rate.

Recovery Day

Recovery brunch: coffee, breakfast burritos, slow conversation. No mandatory checkout time before 2 PM. Pack at your pace.
Yes. Our crew handles all venue cleanup. Couples and guests just pack their personal camping setups.
